The dogs had a great time swimming in the cool NY water. The weather was simply wonderful for all the dogs. Thank you Betsey for taking us to this special spot so the dogs could swim and run free. Enjoy the video! The photos that were in the video can be seen here.
Julio traveled 4000 miles from Alaska to see his gal Georgia for the first time. Julio was so happy to get out of the cold weather, but was soon tired of the heat, humidity & rain in Georgia. Julio and Todd trained everyday from morning to late afternoon and even in the rain. We truly enjoyed watching Julio smile so much when he was working with Georgia.
Georgia is not finished with her training but we are very hopeful that she continues to progress in her learning for the field trials and hunting.
It was sad to watch Julio say good bye to Georgia.
Thank you Julio for all of the wonderful treats from Alaska!

It has been raining here in GA everyday and the ponds are filled up to the top!
Enjoy the video and turn up the volume!
Bear the English Cocker Spaniel had a visit from his Mom & Dad the other day. Russ and Amanda live just a few hours from our farm and decided to take a drive to see how their Bear was doing at camp.
Todd showed Russ and Amanda some of the things that Bear has been working on and soon put Russ to work on some of the drills with his dog. It's always fun to watch the owners work with their dogs, they are nervous but love every minute with their dog.
River the Boykin doing some bird watching! River you have done some growing up since you left Craney Hill camp..
A very special fun weekend at Craney Hill. Rich was able to handle his new dog DJ in the field and also do obedience drills with the help of Todd this weekend. Rich and Sarah drove all the way out from Boston to have some fun at Craney Hill and to enjoy their new dog.
DJ still has more training to do here at Craney Hill, so I'm sure the ride home to Boston will be long for Rich as he will be missing his dog. There are some big plans for this team so keep an eye out on our news page.
Here is an awesome photo of Indie who is from Boston doing her version of The Craney Hill Way. Thank you Sarah for sending in this wonderful photo. Indie has spent many months with us at Craney Hill for her field training. Indie and her owner Rich are planning on a hunting trip out west chasing wild pheasants and sharp tail. We look forward to seeing many photos of that hunting trip.
Here are some videos of Winnie and Mac working on heeling with Todd in the yard. They are both turning into wonderful obedient students. Sorry about the foggy video, going from AC to the boiling heat does silly things to the camera.
Todd just loves this new female. They are just coming back in from the field. I grabbed my camera as I had to capture this special moment.
Here are some videos of the three dogs working in the field on their birds. They have just started to find, flush and get birds shot over them. Sometimes the birds and dogs don't always work the way you want them to while the video camera is rolling. Enjoy the video's.
