Tailored Spaniel Training For Our Clients In The Grouse Woods..

Grouse/Woodcock season is eagerly anticipated by hunters and outdoor enthusiasts alike. As the season approaches, excitement builds among those who relish the thrill of the hunt and the camaraderie it brings. For many, this time of year represents a cherished tradition, a time to connect with nature and experience the beauty of the great outdoors.

For hunters, the start of Grouse/Woodcock season marks the beginning of a new adventure filled with challenges and rewards. The crisp autumn air, the rustling of leaves underfoot, and the sight of a majestic bird taking flight all contribute to the magic of the season. It is a time to test one's skills, patience, and knowledge of the land, as well as an opportunity to bond with fellow hunters over shared experiences and stories.

Todd and I take great pride in providing our clients with unforgettable experiences during grouse/woodcock hunting season. Our passion for hunting grouse and woodcock and dedication to our clients drive us to deliver exceptional service and create lasting memories that will be cherished for years to come.

At Craney Hill Kennel, we highly value the opportunity to host our respected clients and their spaniels during the early weeks of October. These clients, who dedicate numerous hours each year to training their spaniels, journey far distances to Georgia or Michigan for specialized training sessions and also compete in the spaniel field trials. As the crisp autumn air sets in, our clients and their spaniels set off on a journey deep within the forest to flush out a grouse or woodcock.

This annual tradition holds a special place in our hearts as we witness the relationship between our clients and their spaniels strengthen amidst the rustling leaves and the distant sounds of a grouse flushing. Offering advice to our clients on effectively hunting with their spaniels is a valuable lesson that helps build trust. As the spaniels disappear into the undergrowth during these moments, our clients grasp the crucial lesson of relying on their spaniels during this time.

In the end, it's a moment in time that we will never forget, and we get to see everyone have a great time in the woods with their dogs. For some it will be the first time hunting the famous grouse for others it's another chance to flush out that famous bird and get another feather in the bag. It's a very emotional time for us. We cherish every moment and every year we get to do this for our clients.
