Creating A Problem-Solver is an opportunity to access the first portion of our educational seminar material online. You will learn the importance of shaping behaviors, allowing your dog to make choices, developing a dog that will go to work, and getting your dog off to a good start without pressure. The focus of this portion of our seminar is shaping your dog’s mind so it can understand how to attempt the behaviors we want and rewarding the dog for that effort. Your dog must learn how to learn without the fear of mistakes and punishment prior to formalized training. Regardless of what your dog needs to do in its life, if it is understands to try to do the right thing, it will be more willing to repeat the behavior when it becomes a requirement in later development. Regardless of what your dog’s job is going to be, companion, obedience or field dog, all dogs need to be compliant. Save your shoulder from your dog pulling you down the path. Have a dog that is excited to be obedient. 

 

Unlike most “dog training” videos, our seminar material shows and discusses the details. It is not comprised of dogs doing everything correctly. You will see dogs working on things for the first time, what is correct behavior, what is incorrect behavior, and most importantly, how we handle the result. It seldom goes correctly all the time. You need to understand how to handle your dog’s development when it is not going correctly. As they say, you need to crawl before you can walk and it is true for your dog as well! This is not a movie production. Those that already know us will not be surprised; no fluff, direct instructions and broken down into very simple building block steps for you and your dog. It is an opportunity to educate yourself and your dog through video presentation and narration of the beginning of our educational seminar.
