Julio traveled 4000 miles from Alaska to see his gal Georgia for the first time. Julio was so happy to get out of the cold weather, but was soon tired of the heat, humidity & rain in Georgia. Julio and Todd trained everyday from morning to late afternoon and even in the rain. We truly enjoyed watching Julio smile so much when he was working with Georgia.
Georgia is not finished with her training but we are very hopeful that she continues to progress in her learning for the field trials and hunting.
It was sad to watch Julio say good bye to Georgia.
Thank you Julio for all of the wonderful treats from Alaska!

Bear the English Cocker Spaniel had a visit from his Mom & Dad the other day. Russ and Amanda live just a few hours from our farm and decided to take a drive to see how their Bear was doing at camp.
Todd showed Russ and Amanda some of the things that Bear has been working on and soon put Russ to work on some of the drills with his dog. It’s always fun to watch the owners work with their dogs, they are nervous but love every minute with their dog.
Georgia Peach’s owner Julio lives in Alaska and he works in an area called the North Slope. He works in small villages, where the weather is really cold all the time and the local animals are the polar bears. Julio told Todd that one of the local rules was never walk alone around town, always travel in pairs because of the bears. He called the other day to check on his gal Georgia and he was telling us it was 0-degrees out and very excited to be coming down to GA (where the temps are in the 80’s) this month to see Georgia and train with Todd.
Congratulations to Patrick and Griffin on two 3rd place ribbons at the Iowa Sporting Spaniel Club held on Saturday April 27th & 28th. This was Griffins first Puppy Stake and Patrick said Griffin is showing flashes of great things to come. Keep up the great work Pat!
Griffin is out of our National High Point dog Craney Hill Dalmore Dudley and Drakehill’s Anna. Dudley has now sired 6 litters and we are looking forward to the continued success of his puppies!
